POSITION DETAILS

Summary:

CIRCOR Reliability Services is looking for a Project Manager Team Lead to join their team. In this exciting position, the Project Management Team Leader will support the successful execution of 12 – 18 domestic and/or international projects ranging from $10M to $15M (USDs) at any given time that will span 6 – 18 months in duration.

The successful candidate will need to meet key process indicators (KPIs) while directly managing both projects and the overall project management team/process. The ability to manage several tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, results-oriented environment is imperative. The Project Manager Team Lead position will be located in Houston, Texas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide oversight of job responsibilities and mentor 2.5 project management team members
  • Responsible for the full-cycle of domestic and international projects from booking to cash collection
  • Coordinate with multiple organizations including engineering, manufacturing, finance and sales to deliver project documents on time and managing risk of any technical deviations or scope changes
  • Improve the project management process through robust daily management of projects and improvements in standard work (templates, process etc.)
  • Drive customer satisfaction during project execution: including customer change-orders, equipment inspections, technical deviations, documentation delivery, invoicing and cash collection
  • Create and innovate project coordination workflow
  • Perform other necessary job-related duties or responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for full-cycle of domestic and international projects from bookings to cash collection.
  • Delivery of $10M - $15M (USDs) in projects annually
  • Opportunity to grow project management team – currently at the leader plus 2.5 FTEs
  • Integrate project management process into Core Business Monthly Project Reviews

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential Skills and Experience:

Individual should have the ability to interpret technical data, drawings and documents in order to competently communicate and direct project information and instructions. Possess good organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize tasks. Be competent in team-oriented leadership. Promote solution-based discussions, support change and flexibility. Know when to escalate customer concerns to obtain assistance in the resolution.

Minimum Education requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (in Mechanical Engineering or a related field) and 3+ years of project management/engineering experience (refinery experience preferred), or a combination or education and experience. Industrial manufacturing experience preferred: machining, welding, castings/forgings, etc.
