POSITION

CIRCOR Reliability Services (CRS) in Houston, TX, is seeking a Inside Sales Representative to join its growing team.  In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the generation of qualified leads for the field sales force through inside phone (and e-mail) contact activities targeted to the Hydrocarbon Processing (Refining) / Chemical Processing, Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Marine, Pulp & Paper and General Manufacturing markets (as assigned).

 Responsibilities include:

  • Generate qualified leads for the field sales force through inside sales activities.
  • Contact potential users for CIRCOR Reliability Services (service and equipment.)
  • Determine the target companies and decision makers.
  • Utilize information sources (such as IIR or CRM platforms) to generate calling lists for potential users of CIRCOR Reliability Services.
  • Obtain intel and interpret competitors’ information and trends through phone discussions with prospective customers.
  • Maintain consistent status updates of individual KPI’s.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Ability to find the decision maker, listen to uncover customer needs, confidently speak about CRS service/equipment features, and put the customer at ease with concise, clear spoken, and need-specific benefit statements.
  • Efficiently communicate and work with the field sales team to achieve our common goal of delighting the customer and maximizing CRS sales revenue.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • 1 – 2 year experience with a Customer Relationship Management database is strongly preferred.
  • 1 – 2 year experience cold-calling on the Refining and Petrochemical markets in the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast preferred (Houston, Baytown, Texas City, Beaumont, Port Arthur, Corpus Christi, Lake Charles, Baton Rouge, and Norco.)
  • Exhibits superior telephone communication skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication.
  • Ability to efficiently use the phone system, multi-task, and sit for long periods of time. 

 

Job Requirements

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Prior inside sales experience highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lubrication/Lubrication Systems, Rotating Equipment, and/or Industrial Services is preferred.
  • Organization skills; ability to organize and prioritize workload and document/maintain a variety of records.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years’ relevant sales experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Power and Process markets. (Preferred Valve experience)
  • Sound, in-depth understanding of concepts and principles in own technical area and multiple related subjects
  • Has sound, understanding of theories and practices on a domestic basis
  • Able to resolve analytical issues in a variety of complex situations, without supervision
  • Can identify solutions to highly complex problems demanding/requiring use of conceptual and innovative thinking
  • Able to use conceptual thinking in complex/completely new situations based on an analysis of factual information
  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.  Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Sound, in-depth understanding of concepts and principles in own technical area and multiple related subjects
  • Impacts the business through shared responsibility for volume, quality, and timeliness of end results, planning, and finances/budget

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college in business or technical degree preferred, (mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.)
