ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

BUSINESS: Pipeline Engineering

LOCATION: Houston, TX

DIRECT REPORTING: Operations Supervisor, Houston, TX

FUNCTIONAL REPORTING:

POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

You are to report directly to Departmental Supervisor (Operations Supervisor) in relation to your normal duties.

Principal Activities

Perform any combination of the following duties to assemble parts of various materials. Assemble parts in specified relationship to each other, using hand, hand tools, or bench test equipment to meet required quantity and quality parameters.

  • Assemble Equipment
  • Perform other general duties where needed or required
  • Material Handling as needed
  • Daily reporting of work completed

Hydro-testing: 

  • Hydrotesting small equipment.
  • Including Bolt-up, leak test and documentation

In all of your duties you will

  • Ensure that Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines & procedures are followed in your work area by all employees and visitors.
  • Maximize output against cost.
  • Run multiple machines where safe & reasonably practicable. Participate in continuous improvement activity.
  • Adherence to Company Quality Procedures, Standards & product specifications.
  • Housekeeping of your work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and checks on equipment as instructed.
  • Assist in achieving departmental targets (as defined in Departmental Key Process Indicators).

Job Requirements

 Essentials

  • Experience assembly operations.
  • The ability to read & interpret engineering drawings.
  • A desire to become an integral part of the Pipeline Engineering Team.

  • Fork Lift Experience
  • Hydrotesting Experience
  • Lean Principles

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 yrs Experience in Manufacturing Environment
