Sr. Manager of Aftermarket & Service, Industrial APAC

 

Directly Reports To: General Manager, Industrial APAC

The Senior Manager of Aftermarket and Service, Industrial APAC, is responsible for the overall aftermarket and service function for CIRCOR Industrial APAC region. The essential responsibilities majorly include defining a growth strategy in aftermarket sales and services in the region, hunting and developing aftermarket sales opportunities, coordinating with internal stakeholders to deliver excellent customer experiences.

This role will also liaise with the global BU Management and global Aftermarket team (close communication and sharing of best practices).

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the growth strategy for aftermarket products and services in APAC, aligned with global aftermarket strategy.
  • Identify growth opportunities and/or business process improvements (e.g. transfer of best practice and knowledge) in co-operation with the global Aftermarket organization and Business Development.
  • Optimize the local/regional aftermarket organization and processes to meet customer expectations and exceed market benchmark for its key functions, from quotation, order management, to the service and claim management.
  • Work with internal sales and channel partners to improve customer data and build up the installation base. Develop aftermarket sales plans and tactics for customer retention or market penetration.
  • Drive proactive aftermarket sales (spare parts, service agreement, major overhauls etc)
  • Manage the aftersales service team to provide responsive on-site technical services, work closely with channel partners and OEM accounts in solving claims, and expand service partner network.
  • Leadership of local / regional Aftermarket and Service team. Monitor monthly management KPIs to deliver business result and ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required:

  • At least 8 years of experience in aftermarket business in relevant industry
  • Proven leadership and managerial experiences
  • A proven track record demonstrating business acumen in managing aftermarket growth
  • Strong customer centricity and problem-solving skills
  • Proven commercial and negotiation skills
  • Good communication and networking skills.
  • Flexible in working hours to adapt to time zones and high resilience expected.

 

Education

  • BS required, prefer to major in Engineering and Business /preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred, but not required.

 

Language skills

  • Fluent spoken and written English

 

Working Location

  • Based in Shanghai China with 20% travels
