Senior Marketing Manager , Industrial APAC

Directly Reports To: General Manager, Industrial APAC

The Senior , Industrial APAC, is responsible for the overall marketing strategy and activities for CIRCOR Industrial APAC region. The essential responsibilities majorly include strategic marketing, market intelligence, communications, and promotion activities. This role will also closely work with colleagues in Product Management, Business Development and Sales functions of CIRCOR.

  • Identify global market trends, value chain dynamics, and competitive landscape in focused markets
  • Define the growth strategy and develop the Go-To-Market plan in selected vertical segments or for selected applications.
  • Take the lead of marketing activities including but not limited to: VOC and idea generation, promotion, leads generation and follow up, contributes to the built-up and expansion of high-quality sales funnel.
  • Maintain and develop a strong industry network, conduct, and monitor VOC (Voice of Customer). Be responsible for the survey implementation and follow-ups, with the support from sales team.
  • Work with Regional Product Manager to perform installation basis analysis, define brand and product value proposition, and develop programs for customer retention or market penetration.
  • For NPD (New Product Development) & SGI (Strategic Growth Initiatives) related projects, work with global Product Managers and provide inputs to the product development roadmap in the region, while ensuring that the voice of the customers is heard, and local requirements are considered.
  • For the promotion activities, be responsible for the customer experience program, marketing events, exhibitions (from plan to execution), communications with customers, channels as well as internal customers/employees.
  • For sales leads & follow up, drive win/loss analysis to identify product and commercial strategies for growth. Coordinate with sales team & BD to better understand competitions in the region and pursue the suspect & prospect customer at the early stage.

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required:

  • Good knowledge and good understanding of Business Development & Strategy methodologies and techniques.
  • Good knowledge of the flow control market: stakeholders, trends, and competition landscape.
  • Strong ownership and leadership skills. Ability to work and communicate across multiple cultures.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, problem resolution and decision-making skills.
  • Feel comfortable with ambiguity and capable of acting without a finalized scope.
  • Be able to engage with strategic questions to help shape and define the problem at hands, manage risks and expectation and effectively drive clarity and project forward.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, good in conveying strategic messages and business insights through multiple channels including memo, report, and presentations.
  • Flexible in working hours to adapt to time zones and high resilience expected.



  • BS required, prefer to major in Engineering and Business preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred, but not a must
  • 5+ years in strategic marketing, product marketing or related field


Language skills

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English


Working Location

  • Based in Shanghai China with 15-30% travels
