Sr. Manager Valves Sales APAC


Position Objective

  • Focus on growing CIRCOR Industrial Valves in the assigned territory, Markets and Industries.
  • Manage and develop the Sales team both Field & Inside Sales
  • Manage and Develop Key Accounts and Channel partners within assigned geographic area
  • Increase partner effectiveness by developing relationships, supporting their needs, and holding them accountable
  • Manage directly some Key Accounts.
  • Co-sell to channel partner’s customers to increase pull through demand in the territory
  • Provide technical product training to channel partners and select channel partner’s customers



  • Define and communicate the strategy for the region and ensure alignment with high level business objectives
  • Set objectives for Sales resources and hold them accountable through review processes
  • Obtain headquarter approval for specific needs of the region (e.g. headcount, product needs)
  • Manage sales team through onboarding, coaching and development
  • Work with all sales resources to develop territory / accounts plans to maximize revenue in region


  • Maintain and develop professional relationships with Key Accounts and Channel partners.
  • Assist in the development of large/strategic sales opportunities and maintain high-level relationships with a select set of Key Accounts.
  • Establishing true account partnership via long-term agreements, frame agreements, product and commercial model piloting, strategic co-creation etc. and be perceived as a trusted advisor.


  • Managing sales activities of partners to generate revenue
  • Coordinating with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals
  • Analyzing market trends and accordingly developing sales plans to increase brand awareness
  • Evaluating partner sales performance and recommending improvements
  • Educating partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offered
  • Addressing partner-related issues, sales conflicts and pricing issues in a timely manner
  • Managing sales pipeline, forecast sales and identifying new business opportunities
  • Developing positive working relationship with partners to build business
  • Staying current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities
  • Communicating up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners
  • Developing process improvements to optimize partner management activities

  • Knowledge in the areas of control valves and actuators technology advantageous

  • Adequate experience with different software tools (MS Office, Web-based software, ProAlpha)


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Sales Management
  • Minimum 5 years of Sales Management experience in a B2B sales environment related to technical products.
  • Fluent (written and spoken) in English, other languages preferred
  • Skilled in negotiating, influencing, communicating and coordinating with senior management in a large organization
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with limited supervision
  • This position requires extensive travel (50%)
