REPORTS TO: Shop Floor Supervisor

Position Summary

We have an amazing opportunity for someone wanting to gain a nationally recognized apprenticeship, while gaining experience working for a global business, as an Apprentice Engineering Technician level 3 (CNC) for our facility in Catterick. 

You would carry out the following duties whilst in training and under supervision.

  • Programme set up and operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) turning and milling machinery
  • Fitting and assemble of components
  • Learn how to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Use a range of engineering and measuring equipment
  • Using and coordinate measuring machinery


Job Requirements


Knowledge Skills & Abilities

To be considered for either position, you must have GCSE grades C and above in Maths & English and be:

  • Able to work well both as part of a team and as an individual
  • Flexible and willing to work shifts, including nights and weekends, across three sites
  • Enthusiastic, with a good work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to work on your own initiative
  • Numerate and able to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, with a good standard of written and spoken English
